Many people say that to give is better than to receive and I for one would agree with this wholeheartedly. I just love to spend time at Christmas just browsing the shops and imagining the reaction of a special friend or one of my sisters if I were to give them this present or that.
A little thought and time can make all the difference when it comes to choosing a present and it does not have to cost the earth. If it is well chosen and thought has gone into the gift then the recipient will not care how much it has cost, they will be touched at the trouble you went to choose the gift.
For something special at Christmas time you can choose ornaments or decorations that they would not buy for themselves such as Radko Little Gems or small handcrafted trinkets. The effort you have gone into will not go unappreciated, particularly if you look at the higher end Radko ornaments.
Another type of present that is always a hit are hand-made Christmas gifts and you can choose to make something which fits your talents. If you are a good cook then why not make some Christmas cakes or biscuits as presents? And if you like gardening then hand strung chili wreathes always make a great present.
What you choose, if it is chosen with love then you cannot go wrong.
